About Me

I’ve worked at the forefront of user experience for over 15 years and want to continue building software that makes humanity better.

Known for my domain fluency, I help teams move quickly while maintaining a strong vision for product quality and user trust. My career is defined by the ability to architect high-level product strategies while remaining deeply rooted in the technical craft of implementation. My work emphasizes functionality without sacrificing joy and delight.

Core Competencies

  • Deep Product Thinking: Aligning user-centered outcomes with business goals and operational constraints

  • Technical Fluency: A "Full-Spectrum" designer who writes code (HTML/CSS/JS) and learns new environments (Unity/Clojure) to support engineering

  • Craft-Level Interaction: High-fidelity design that builds immediate user trust and introduces moments of delight

  • Collaborative Leadership: Pushing teams toward better outcomes through shared vision and fast, focused execution

My Values

  1. Eliminate Unnecessary User Friction (Non-Negotiable)
If there’s a clearer, simpler way to do something, I fight for it. Friction erodes trust, slows adoption, and shows a lack of care.

  2. Earn User Trust Through Quality
Users trust products that feel considered, coherent, and well-crafted—especially early on. I advocate for investing in polish and interaction quality from the start, not as a future phase.

  3. Collaborate to Elevate the Work
Great products are built by aligned teams who care about the outcome. I work as a collaborative partner, engaging stakeholders and engineers to raise the bar together.

  4. Move Fast Without Sacrificing Clarity
I think and execute quickly while keeping the experience coherent and the goals clear.

Out of Office

I’m the mother of a smart, kind, funny 10-year-old who makes me laugh out loud and learn new things daily. My husband, two big dogs, and I love adventuring in the mountains. Creative pursuits keep me inspired and balanced: floral arranging, songwriting, crocheting, and watercolor painting. Here’s a glimpse into my life:
